Maribel Aber
Maribel Aber, born Maribel Alacbayo'Brien, is a CNN correspondent. She was previously the chief of staff for the vice chairman at NASDAQ.
Career
In 2012 she joined CNN after leaving her job as anchor for PBS' Wall Street Week. She has covered stories including the China Market Crash in 2015, the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting, and Facebook's IPO in 2012. With an B.A. from the University of Virginia where she earned her with honors. she majored in foreign and international relations at the Virginia University. She received her J.D. from New York Law School. She received her degree in February of 2003. Aber is from New York City. Robert E. Aber, an ex-Senior Vice President and General Counsel at NASDAQ, is her husband.
